Welcome to the campaign website for Larson Thune!

Thank you for taking time to learn more about my desire to become SGA President of James Madison University. I hope the information presented in this website will enable you to make an informed decision on the Election Days, April 2nd and April 3rd.

Simply put, I want to see that I leave JMU a better place than I found it. This university has given me three of the best years of my life and I am emboldened to give back - and the best way I see fit is to serve as Student Body President.

I am a self-motivated leader who values consistency between word and action. I think it is imperative for leaders to remain true to themselves and true to the ideals they uphold. Therefore, I pledge my sincere commitment to serve the student body to the best of my ability.

I may not always have all the answers or solutions, but I will seek them out. Issues I wish to tackle initially include student leadership and involvement, campus health and safety, transportation and student-advisor relations. However, with input and support from the students, faculty and staff, I am confident that we can identify problems that resonate throughout our campus and achieve viable solutions for them.

All together one, we can leave JMU a better place than we found it.
